When combined with mindfulness techniques and vibrational remedies, kinesiology is a powerful tool to heal deep in the body. It is useful to help individuals resolve stress and feel confident moving forward. When dealing with and clearing emotional issues, we are acknowledging that emotions can get trapped in the cells of our body. Using Kinesiology techniques, we work on the emotions that are relevant to the weak muscle, organ or system of the body. When we are unwell and or suddenly get a symptom we do not necessarily immediately link them with past or present stresses, traumas or negative learned behaviours, especially if we feel we have let them go in our mind. Lise Bourbeau in her book "Your body is telling you to Love Yourself" provides an extensive list of physical symptoms and the emotions that are attached to it, as well as affirmations to help release what is stored in the body and mind. Our bodies often take a while to catch up and reveal the toll the stresses have taken on our physical side. Frequently it is when we stop that the body can then be given the space and time to show imbalance through symptoms. Suggested treatment plan: When treating emotional stress with Kinesiology I recommend: An initial 90 minute kinesiology consultation followed by between 3 – 5 standard consultations 1 -2 weeks apart. Further follow-up standard consultations should be spaced between 2 -4 weeks apart or booked as needed.
