There's a Spiritual Solution to Every problem

“Whenever you feel out of touch, sad, or like you are floundering, just stop in that moment and ask, “How may I serve?” Then reach out in any small serving capacity and notice how purposeful you feel. … This is the bringing of joy to sadness. … A simple act of comforting another person is an act of purpose. Helping someone across a street or going out of your way to hold a door open for a stranger . . . Even a kind greeting or sending a greeting card are purposeful acts. They bring you joy, and they erode sadness that might exist in others or in yourself.” ~Dr. Wayne Dyer, There's a Spiritual Solution to Every Problem

How often it can feel that our burdens become oppressive forces that hold us back? Our way forward can be the focus on what we CAN do rather than what we can't. There are always reasons to be grateful, and there is always something we can give. A simple thought of caring for Self or for another is pivotal in turning towards what is good for us. Our hurt and sorrow needs love to heal so much that without love, we become entangled in the pain. It traps us and we struggle to free ourselves. Turn towards love, towards kindness in any way and these entanglements start to fall away.
